The journal brings together diverse poetic traditions and languages including Assamese, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Bodo, Mising, Karbi, Tiwa, Tai, Rabha and many more. Through this initiative, we aim to preserve cultural heritage, encourage literary creativity, and inspire the next generation of poets.

Poetry has always been close to the human heart. It carries our emotions, our memories, and our dreams in the simplest yet most powerful form of words. Across time and cultures, poetry has helped people express what cannot always be spoken directly.
Assam Muse Poetry & Prose Magazine was born from a simple idea — to create a space where poets can share their voices freely and where readers can experience the beauty of poetry from different cultures and languages.
Assam is a land of rich traditions and diverse languages. Through this journal, we celebrate that diversity by bringing together poems written in Assamese, English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Bodo, Mising, Karbi, Tiwa, Tai, Rabha, and many other languages.
